On May 14, CCTV‑2 Economic Information Broadcast featured an exclusive report on CHAM New Energy. Focusing on the lithium iron phosphate (LFP) industry’s capacity expansion boom, high‑end transformation and integrated industrial layout, the report highlighted CHAM’s achievements and strategic direction in large‑format cylindrical batteries.

As a forerunner with over 20 years of expertise in cylindrical batteries, CHAM ranks among the industry’s top tier with solid market performance in light mobility and small‑scale energy storage, supported by industry‑leading digitalized manufacturing facilities.

Since 2026, demand for LFP raw materials has grown in volume and quality with stable pricing. Booming energy storage markets and policy‑driven shift toward value‑based competition have boosted demand for premium materials featuring high compaction density, excellent consistency and long cycle life. Against lithium carbonate price volatility, CHAM stabilizes costs and secures supply chains via long‑term procurement agreements and upstream resource integration, leveraging local phosphorus‑lithium resources in Sichuan.

CHAM’s Mianyang production base operates at full capacity with full order fulfillment. Its 32140 cell production line stably outputs 150,000 units per day, with orders booked through 2027. Backed by mature manufacturing and strict quality control, products are well‑recognized globally and exported to the Middle East, Europe, India and beyond. They are widely applied in e‑two‑wheelers, battery swapping systems, residential & commercial energy storage, communication base stations, as well as emerging sectors including low‑altitude economy and intelligent robots.

The flagship 32140 LFP large cylindrical cell stands out for superior safety, long cycle life and wide temperature adaptability. With a 15,000 mAh high capacity, it relieves range anxiety for light‑duty equipment. 3C continuous discharge ensures stable power output under tough conditions. It delivers ≥6,000 room‑temperature cycles and works reliably from -20°C to 60°C, with 12‑layer safety protection for harsh outdoor environments.

CHAM keeps expanding its product portfolio, launching ultra‑high‑capacity large cylindrical cells (25Ah‑46 series, 50Ah‑60 series) for three‑wheelers, low‑speed vehicles and low‑altitude economy. Two new production lines for next‑gen LFP large cylindrical cells are under planning with equipment scheduled for delivery by year‑end, to expand high‑end capacity for global clients.

Driven by power and energy storage sectors, the LFP industry is shifting toward high‑end development and vertical integration. Upholding the core value “Innovation in DNA, Quality as Faith”, CHAM advances high‑end LFP applications to support China’s carbon peaking and neutrality goals.

CHAM New Energy will continuously optimize production capacity and deliver safe, accessible energy technology worldwide.
