Suzhou, July 21, 2025 – Energont Technology (Suzhou) Co., Ltd. ("Energont"), a subsidiary of Cham Group, today signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Mexican Energy Group to deepen collaboration in commercial and industrial energy storage and jointly explore opportunities across China, Mexico, and the Americas. The signing ceremony, attended by senior executives from both companies, was led by Mr. Xie Dongsheng, General Manager of Energont, and the Global Market Director of Mexican Energy Group.
The partnership will focus on three key areas with clear implementation plans:
Customized Energy Storage Solutions for Businesses
Leveraging Energont’s expertise in liquid-cooled energy storage systems and distributed storage platforms, combined with Mexican Energy Group’s localized service network, the two companies will deliver tailored solutions to optimize energy use and reduce costs. The first major initiative will deploy grid-connected liquid-cooled storage systems (100kW/215kWh to 500kW/1MWh) across 12 sites in Mexico starting Q4 2025.
Data Center Backup Power Solutions
Building on Mexican Energy Group’s strong data center infrastructure presence, the partners will develop high-reliability backup power systems to enhance grid stability and emergency response. In early 2026, they will roll out projects in Central America featuring "UPS replacement + 32140 plug-and-play battery packs" to upgrade data center power resilience.
Grid-Scale Energy Storage Services
The collaboration will also explore grid-side storage projects to support peak shaving, frequency regulation, and renewable energy integration, improving regional grid efficiency.
